I Smoke Weed To Be Charismatic While Preaching| Arrested "General Overseer"

Prophet Ugochukwu Emmanuel Ekwem the General overseer of Christ Living Hope Church have been arrested by operatives of the Notional Drug Law Enforcement Agency at the Murtala  Muhammad International Airport, MMIA,  ikeja while on his way to a three week crusade in Nairobi, Kenya with 54 sticks of drugs wrapped around his body.

The youthful and popular preacher Nick named Major 1 of Nigeria has his church headquarters in Isuaniocha, Mgbakwu road, Awka, Awka North LGA, Anambra state and two other branches in Lagos and Abuja.

The self acclaimed Prophet was arrested on Monday 7th March, during the outward clearance of passengers on Ethiopian Airlines flight to Nairobi via Addis Ababa.

Corereporters.com gathered that, when tested, the 54 sticks proved positive to cannabis. The clergyman confessed during preliminary interview that he packed that quantity of illicit substance on his body to use during his three weeks crusade in Kenya. 

The self styled prophet who is known for flamboyant life style is hypertensive and needed the illicit drug to calm his rising blood pressure as it will energize him to be charismatic in his ministration.

Responding to questions while he took Ethiopia route instead of a direct flight to Kenya, the embattled prophet claimed he intend transacting a business in Ethiopia before heading to Kenya.

However corereporters.com gathered that, the self styled prophet in detention denied his wife access to him while a particular lady suspected to be his mistress have granted access to him warranting to some emotional moment  between the duo.

While commending the officers and men of the MMIA, Apapa Port, Kaduna, Yobe and Anambra Commands of the Agency for the impressive seizures and arrests in the past week, Chairman/ Chief Executive of NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd) charged them and their colleagues across the country to stay focussed and intensify efforts to rid Nigeria of illicit drugs and substances.
